~ Joe Klein says W has collapsed ~

Our great leader Kos suggested yesterday that Joe Klein's blogging experience was shedding some light on his beltway belching behaviour. Kudos if that is truly the case.

Today we can read that Joe Klein (aka Joke Line) has likely found one of his shrivelled balls;

... either terrible nor transcendent. A Pew poll had it about right: a substantial majority of the public remains happy the Democrats won in 2006, but neither Nancy Pelosi nor Harry Reid has dominated the public consciousness as Newt Gingrich did when the Republicans came to power in 1995. There is a reason for that. A much bigger story is unfolding: the epic collapse of the Bush Administration."

Its an OK read, especially for someone who has been giving W the benefit of the majority's doubt.

This is good;

"I've tried to be respectful of the man and the office, but the three defining sins of the Bush Administration--arrogance, incompetence, cynicism--are congenital: they're part of his personality. They're not likely to change."

but

The article's last sentence is a perfect cap.

I question if Klein has much reputation or importance left but suffice it to say that seeing a senior beltway buddy slap bush is refreshing, like Spring in the air (including the Waft of dogcrap smell).
